These Terms govern your use of LockPic. By downloading or using LockPic, you agree to these Terms.
LockPic is a macOS application that can take selfies when you unlock your Mac and provides related photo and capture functionality.
You are responsible for how you use LockPic and for complying with applicable laws and regulations. In particular, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the camera and any photographs you create complies with applicable privacy, data protection, and other legal requirements.
LockPic requires access to certain macOS functionality, including the camera, in order to provide its features. Some optional functionality may also require access to the Photos library.
These permissions are controlled by macOS and may be granted or revoked through System Settings. Certain LockPic functionality may not be available if the required permissions are denied.
Photos and selfies created using LockPic belong to you. LockPic does not claim ownership of your photos or other content created using the application.
You are responsible for content created or stored through your use of LockPic.
LockPic offers optional Supporter levels through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
The following Supporter levels may be purchased separately:
Supporter purchases are optional and are not required to use LockPic's core functionality.
Each Supporter level is a one-time purchase and not a subscription. A Supporter purchase unlocks the corresponding cosmetic Supporter status within LockPic and supports the continued development of the application.
Platinum Supporter cannot be purchased separately.
Platinum Supporter status is automatically unlocked when the user is entitled to all three purchasable Supporter levels:
If those purchases are successfully restored through the App Store, Platinum Supporter status will also become available again.
All In-App Purchases are offered and processed using Apple's App Store and StoreKit infrastructure.
The price displayed by the App Store at the time of purchase is the applicable purchase price. Prices may vary depending on country, region, currency, taxes, or changes made through App Store Connect.
Payment processing is handled by Apple. Additional terms and conditions imposed by Apple for App Store transactions may apply.
Eligible Supporter purchases can be restored using the Restore Purchases function provided in LockPic.
Restoration depends on the purchase information made available by Apple for the App Store account being used.
Requests for refunds of purchases made through the App Store are handled through Apple's applicable App Store refund procedures and policies.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply under applicable law.
LockPic may be updated, modified, or discontinued in the future. Features may change as the application and macOS evolve.
Where reasonably possible, changes will not intentionally remove a valid purchased Supporter entitlement.
LockPic is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. No guarantee is made that LockPic will always be available, uninterrupted, or free from errors.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or other rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.
Liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
LockPic, including its application design, branding, graphics, and original software components, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of LockPic or its intellectual property to you.
These Terms may be updated from time to time, for example to reflect changes to LockPic, its features, applicable law, or App Store requirements. Updated versions will be published on this page.
