LockPic is a macOS application that can take selfies when you unlock your Mac.
To provide this functionality, LockPic requires access to your Mac's camera. Camera access is controlled by macOS and can be granted, denied, or revoked at any time through System Settings.
Photos taken by LockPic are stored locally on your Mac in locations selected or configured by you, such as a local folder or the Photos app.
LockPic does not upload, sell, share, or otherwise transmit your selfies or personal photos to the developer.
If you choose to save photos to your Photos library, LockPic uses Apple's system frameworks to interact with the Photos library.
Access to the Photos library is controlled by macOS permissions. The developer of LockPic does not receive your photos through this process.
Settings and other information required for the operation of LockPic may be stored locally on your Mac.
This information is used to provide application functionality and is not used to create advertising profiles or track you across apps or websites.
LockPic offers optional Supporter levels through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
The purchasable Supporter levels are:
These are optional one-time purchases. They are not subscriptions.
Each Supporter level unlocks a corresponding cosmetic Supporter status within LockPic. Purchasing all three available Supporter levels automatically unlocks Platinum Supporter status. Platinum Supporter is not a separate purchase.
Purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and StoreKit infrastructure. The developer does not receive or store your payment card or other payment account information.
LockPic may process information supplied by StoreKit that is necessary to determine whether a Supporter purchase is valid and which purchased products you are entitled to use. This may include product and transaction information provided by Apple.
Restoring purchases uses Apple's StoreKit infrastructure to determine previously purchased Supporter levels associated with your App Store account.
Apple processes information relating to App Store purchases according to Apple's own privacy policies and terms.
LockPic does not use third-party advertising networks or tracking systems.
LockPic does not use your photos or camera content for analytics, advertising, profiling, or tracking.
If analytics, crash-reporting, or similar services that involve additional data processing are introduced in a future version of LockPic, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

The LockPic website currently does not use web analytics, advertising, or user-tracking services. In particular, no user profiles are created for advertising purposes.
